About Us
Minchinhampton has had a drama group on and off for decades. The current company mounted its first production in 2017. The purpose was to generate income to help finance the care and restoration of the characterful building that plays host to our productions - the Minchinhampton Market House.

Since we started, our productions have developed a reputation for being boisterous (well, mostly) for the cast and something of a blast for the audience. Along with our numbers, ambitions and confidence have grown. Since our inception we have put on over ten shows, a theatrical quiz and a traditional mummers play. Our 2023 production of Oliver attracted huge support from new cast members and audiences alike.
We are so proud to have grown into a really talented and committed multi-generational group of actors, singers and production support crew.
We are also lucky to have amongst our number local writing and directing talents who have created and brought to life many interesting shows. We always welcome suggestions for productions from our members and provide a supportive environment for new talent to shine.
Creating great entertainment for our local community is at the heart of what we do and we are always so grateful for the energy and enthusiasm our audiences bring to our shows. We look forward to seeing you at or in our next production!
